Call for Nomination for the first National Change Maker Award

The Right Holders Network (RHN) Child Rights Change Maker Award 2019 competition is open to ChangeMakers ages 24 years or less before July 26, 2019. Entrants must not be a member of the Right Holders Network. In due course, all finalists (including winners) will be required to submit a copy of an official identity document (Passport, Citizen ID and Birth Certificate) in proof of their age.

The award is an initiative of Right Holders Network and will be honoring Outstanding Young Advocate below the age of 24 who has demonstrated a significant commitment to standing up for children’s rights and have measurable impacts. Nominee must be a Liberian citizen based in Liberia and can nominate him/herself or be nominated by another person. Submissions must not be published by individuals or third parties prior to the awards ceremony. Any breach of this rule will result in one exclusion from the competition. All stages of this competition are free of charge.

Prizes
All entrants
All short listed winners will be featured on both the Right Holders Network and YOCEL Facebook Pages.
Finalists
• The top six finalists will also be given free admission to the National Children Education and Development Camp (NACED) Camp2019 (other expenses are not included).
The Winner
• The winning nominee will receive a cash prize of $10,000 LD to implement an activity within his/her community with the support form one of the judges.

Additionally, the two runners off nominee will from part of the Right Holders Network and will lead on an advocacy activity.
